Imunify360 is a security suite developed by CloudLinux specifically for Linux hosting servers. You'll find it active on all LimeNetwork plans, from Hosting Home to top-tier Managed VPS. It detects and blocks in real time malware, exploits, brute force, and all the most common attack patterns against websites and applications.
Unlike traditional signature-based antivirus, Imunify360 uses machine learning algorithms trained on millions of real attack patterns, and integrates with mod_security and its OWASP rule sets to deliver an always up-to-date Web Application Firewall (WAF). Rules are updated automatically in real time from the Imunify cloud, with no manual intervention required.
A particularly valuable feature is Virtual Patching: when a serious vulnerability (CVE) is discovered in a popular CMS or plugin, Imunify automatically adds a WAF rule that blocks the exploit even if the site hasn't been updated yet. For us and our customers, that means precious time to apply patches without panic.
